The Spring Lake Park Panthers Youth Football Association wants to make sure a registration fee is not a barrier to a child playing a sport they love. To accomplish that goal, the SLPPYFA offers scholarships to eligible participants in our tackle program.

Due to increased demand in the past few years, the SLPPYFA board has approved a change to 50% scholarships for registration fees. The board would like to be able to provide as many families with a discount as possible, instead of capping a number available and turning anyone away, and this change is also in line with other youth sports associations in our district.

The SLPPYFA will provide a 50% registration fee scholarship to tackle players who qualify for the Educational Benefits Program as determined by Spring Lake Park Schools. Proof of current participation in this program is required.  If a partial registration fee creates a financial hardship for your family, you may inquire with the youth football board as to if any scholarships may be available.

If a scholarship is awarded, the amount will be determined exclusively at the sole discretion of the SLPPYFA board of directors.

To request an Educational Benefits program scholarship, please send a copy of the current school year SLP School District Educational Benefits Approval Letter to slpyouthfootballboard@gmail.com. Once the form has been verified, families will receive a discount code to apply at checkout during the registration process. DO NOT register until you have received this code.

Visit the SLP Nutrition Services Department page or stop by the district office/any school front office to fill out the Educational Benefits form in order to qualify for this discount. Obtaining this form is the sole responsibility of the player's family.
